This session provides definitions of different types of assessment, key characteristics of assessment, and what each type of assessment with various characteristics are good for, and what their limitations are. This interactive session will engage users in thinking about assessments they are familiar with and identifying whether their uses have been oversold, undersold, overused, and/ or underused.
