Be among a select number of Michigan sites selected for the Smarter FAME field test to engage in transformative work!
School districts interested in more effectively using school and classroom student assessments will be interested in this unique opportunity to engage in an extended study of how balanced classroom assessment (assessment for and of learning) can be used to substantially improve student learning.
The Smarter FAME Field Test offers educators in a select few school districts an opportunity to learn to use the formative assessment process as defined in the Michigan’s Formative Assessment for Michigan Educators (FAME) program, while also using resources from Smarter Balanced. Participants will learn how Smarter Balanced Interim Assessment Blocks, Focused Interim Assessment Blocks, and Tools for Teachers can be used to support instruction and create balance in classroom assessment.
